A flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring salmon bites served in a bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cubed
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Add the salmon cubes to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
  4. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
  6. In serving bowls, place cooked rice as the base.
  7. Add baked salmon, cucumber, and avocado on top of the rice.
  8. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.

Notes

  • Adjust the marinade for more or less sweetness.
  • Serve immediately for best taste.
  • Can substitute salmon with another fish if desired.
