- 1 lb salmon fillet, cubed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Add the salmon cubes to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
- In serving bowls, place cooked rice as the base.
- Add baked salmon, cucumber, and avocado on top of the rice.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.
Notes
- Adjust the marinade for more or less sweetness.
- Serve immediately for best taste.
- Can substitute salmon with another fish if desired.
