Crockpot Hamburger Potato Casserole

A hearty and comforting dish with layers of hamburger, potatoes, and cheese cooked in a crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet.
  2. Layer the sliced potatoes in the crockpot.
  3. Add the browned beef mixture on top of the potatoes.
  4. Pour the cream of mushroom soup and milk over the layers.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
  • Use sweet potatoes for a different flavor.
  • This dish can be made ahead and reheated.
