Garlic Butter Steak with Parmesan Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steaks and let them rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Serve the sauce over the steaks.

Notes

  • For best results, let the steaks come to room temperature before cooking.
  • Adjust cooking time for desired doneness.
