  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add the elbow macaroni; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  6. Serve hot, topped with shredded cheese if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For added flavor, include bell peppers.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
