Steak Fajita Quesadillas

Steak Fajita Quesadillas are a delicious blend of seasoned steak, sautéed peppers, and melty cheese, all packed between crispy tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steak with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add steak to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  4. Remove steak and let it rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
  5. In the same skillet, add sliced peppers and onions. Sauté until softened.
  6. Place a tortilla in the skillet, layer with cheese, steak, and sautéed veggies.
  7. Top with another tortilla and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  9. Cut into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with salsa or guacamole.
